Inside of a guest VM running Windows 7 amd64 or Server 2008 R2 amd64, we are accessing shared folders via the \vboxsvr custom kernel mini redirector.

What makes me say that the problem comes from the shared resource : when I copy the images on the Windows 7 VM's drive (for example c:\temp), Photoshop reads them all! Also, the problem occurs only in Photoshop x64, NOT using the x32 version. xnViewMP x64 reads the files alright from the shared resource.
